Kia has announced the updates to the 2021 Niro hybrid and plug-in hybrid models. There aren’t any styling updates, but instead both models get some updated tech features.

2021 Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid

For trim levels equipped with the 8-inch display audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto has been added. Models with the navigation system now have the MapCare program with 10 years of complimentary map updates and Smart Key equipped vehicles now have Remote Engine start.

Lastly the DriveWise Advanced Driver Assistance System now has navigation-based adaptive cruise control.

The Niro Hybrid gets up to 53 mpg city, 48 mpg highway and 50 mpg combined. The Niro Plug-in Hybrid can travel up to 26 miles in electric mode.

The 2021 Kia Niro Hybrid starts at $25,865, while the Niro Plug-In Hybrid starts at $30,765, including the destination charge.
