Subaru has announced the pricing for the 2020 Subaru Legacy and Outback, which start at $23,645 and $27,655, respectively. Both the Legacy and Outback are completely all-new for the 2020 model year and the good news is that the pricing hasn’t increased that much with the new Legacy only costing $200 more and the new Outback costing $300 more.

2020 Subaru Legacy

Both the 2020 Legacy and Outback are now based on the Subaru’s new global platform. The base engine is a 182-hp 2.5L four-cylinder boxer engine that’s mated to a CVT. If you want something more fun, opt for the 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder boxer engine that generates 260 horsepower that’s also mated to a CVT transmission. Just like before, both models come standard with symmetrical all-wheel drive.

On the safety front the 2020 Legacy and Outback come standard with the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, which now features Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering Function, EyeSight Assist Monitor that provides a head-up display with EyeSight warnings and system status on the windshield, and LED headlights with High Beam Assist.

The 2020 Subaru Legacy will be available in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, Limited XT and Touring XT trim levels, while the 2020 Outback is available in Base, Premium, Limited, Touring, Onyx Edition XT, Limited XT and Touring XT trim levels.
