Hyundai gave the Elantra an extensive facelift for the 2019 model year and now it’s announced a few more updates for the 2020 Elantra.

To start, the six-speed automatic has been swapped out with a new CVT transmission, which Hyundai calls an Intelligent Variable Transmission. The bad news is that Hyundai also killed the six-speed manual that was previously available on the SE and Sport models. For buyers that don’t want a CVT, the Eco and Sport models come with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

If you choose the Elantra Limited with the Ultimate Package, you’ll also get adaptive cruise control, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection and the Safe Exit Assist that warns you if a car is approaching from behind before you open a door.

The 2020 Hyundai Elantra is available with three four-cylinder engine options. The SE, SEL, Value Edition and Limited models are powered by a 2.0L Atkinson Cycle engine with 147 horsepower and the Elantra Eco is powered by a 1.4L turbo with 128 horsepower. The Elantra Sport is powered by a turbocharged 1.6L with 201 hp.

The 2020 Elantra starts at $19,870.
