As expected, Lexus is going to unveil the all-new 2019 Lexus ES next week at the Beijing Motor Show. But the good news is that Lexus has released the first official photo of the new ES, which it says has been “transformed for the world.”

The Lexus ES is the brand’s most popular sedan, so its debut next week is big news. Lexus hasn’t released any details about the new 2019 ES and if it will seek to fill the shoes for the rear-wheel drive GS sedan. The 2019 Lexus ES is expected to be based on Toyota’s TNGA platform, which is also the basis for the Camry and 2019 Avalon. As we can see from this first photo, a hybrid version of the new ES will be on the options list.

Stay tuned, since we’ll have all the details about the new ES on April 25.
