Kia has released several exterior teasers of the 2019 Kia K900, but now Kia is ready to give us a preview of its new, more luxurious interior. The interior features a minimalist layout with less buttons and knobs than today’s K900, but with more leather and wood covering most of the surfaces.
Kia’s design teams in Namyang, Korea and Irvine, California teamed up to design the interior of the new K900. The interior features new 12.3-inch HMI screen, a new intelligent lighting control system and chromotherapy ambient mood lighting. The HMI’s intelligent lighting control uses proximity sensors, only illuminating when it detects the driver’s hand reaching for a switch on the dash. Drivers can also adjust the the feel of the interior with a new mood lighting system with up to 64 colors and seven theme options.
The 2019 Kia K900 is scheduled to go on sale in the second quarter of this year, but Kia has not announced when it will reveal it.
