Jeep has revealed the updates to the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which includes more features and the introduction of the Grand Cherokee Limited X model.
The 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee isn’t getting any stying updates, but it now comes standard with Blind-spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path detection and the 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system now has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The 2019 Grand Cherokee Limited X features unique front and rear fascias, a performance hood, Granite Crystal exterior accents and 20-inch Low Gloss Granite Crystal wheels. Inside the Limited X model features a black interior with Heritage perforated seats, the Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a nine-speaker audio system with active noise cancellation.
Lastly the 2019 Grand Cherokee Overland gets new 20-inch Heritage wheels, Summit models get new optional 20-inch wheels and there are three new exterior paint colors – Slate Blue, Green Metallic and Sting Gray.
Under the hood the 2019 Grand Cherokee is powered by the same engine lineup as the 2018 model. The 2019 Grand Cherokee comes standard with a Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 that generates 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque. The available 5.7-liter V8 generates 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft. of torque.
If you want more performance the 2019 Grand Cherokee SRT is powered by a 6.4-liter V8 that packs 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. of torque, while the 2019 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft. of torque. The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk can zoom from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
The 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee will be available in several trim levels: Laredo, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, SRT, and Trackhawk.
