When Jeep unveiled the 2018 Jeep Wrangler (JL) late last year buyers might have noticed that it was missing a few driver assistance safety features that are now the norm – adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning. Well the good news is that the 2019 Jeep Wrangler is now available with both safety features.
We’re still eagerly awaiting the introduction of the Jeep Wrangler pickup, but in the meantime Jeep has announced the updates to the 2019 Wrangler. Given the fact that it was just introduced about a year ago, there aren’t any big updates, besides the new safety features that are part of the Advanced Safety Group package. The other big addition is a new Bikini exterior paint color.
The 2019 Jeep Wrangler will be available in Sport, Sport S, Sahara and Rubicon trim levels and buyers can choose either the 285-hp 3.6L V6 or the 270-hp 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder. There’s still no word yet when the Wrangler diesel will be introduced.
