Jeep has announced the updates to the 2019 Jeep Compass compact SUV, which is getting a few updates for the new model year.
The 2019 Jeep Compass largely carries over into the new model year without any significant updates, but there are some new package options. The 2019 Jeep Compass Sport is now available in a new Upland special edition, which adds 17-in Trailhawk wheels, the Trailhawk’s front fascia, a front skid plate, a Gloss Black grille and roof, silver anodized interior accents, a bright chrome exhaust tip and Trailhawk all-weather mats.
The 2019 Compass Limited trim level is also available with a new High Altitude Appearance package that adds 19-inch Satin Gloss Granite wheels, the Uconnect 8.4-inch infotainment system with navigation, HID headlights, LED taillights, Satin Gloss Granite grille surrounds, a Gloss Black roof, anodized gunmetal interior finishes and tungsten interior stitching.
The other significant updates, include a new Sting Grey exterior color, refreshed 17-inch Trailhawk wheels, the availability of adaptive cruise control and a standard 7-inch Uconnect radio on Sport and Latitude models.
All versions of the 2019 Jeep Compass are powered by a 2.4L four-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft. of torque. Front-wheel drive models get a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, while all-wheel drive versions get either a nine-speed automatic or six-speed manual.
