Hyundai is bringing three new SUVs to the New York Auto Show next week. We’ve already seen the 2019 Santa Fe and the new Kona Electric, but Hyundai has also confirmed that the refreshed 2019 Tucson will debut at the show.
The two bigger highlights of the show will be the al-new 2019 Santa Fe and the Kona Electric. The fourth-generation 2019 Santa Fe was revealed last month and just like its predecessor, the Santa Fe will be offered int two versions. The standard Santa Fe ditches the “Sport” name and is once again simply called the Santa Fe, while a longer seven-passenger version is now called the Santa Fe XL. The 2019 Santa Fe will also be offered with three engine options, including a new diesel.
The 2019 Kona Electric is ready to give Tesla some major competition, since the top version can travel up to 292 miles on a single charge. Based on the standard Kona, the base Kona Electric is powered by a 133 horsepower electric motor and a can travel up to 186 miles. If you step up to the larger battery option, you’ll get a 201 horsepower electric motor and the 292 mile driving range.
