Hyundai has announced the introduction of the new 2018 Tucson Sport, which actually gets more “sport” than just a simple body kit and more aggressive wheels. The 2018 Hyundai Tucson Sport is powered by a 181 horsepower 2.4L four-cylinder that gives the small SUV more horsepower than the existing 1.6L and 2.0L engines.

The 2.4L generates 181 horsepower and 175 lb-ft. of torque, which is six more horsepower than the turbocharged 1.6L, but the smaller 1.6L packs more torque at 195 lb-ft. The 2.4L is mated to a six speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive is a $1,400 option.

The Tucson Sport also rides on 19-inch wheels and comes standard with Blind Spot Detection, Dual Automatic Temperature Control and a Push Button Start system.

Pricing for the 2018 Hyundai Tucson Sport starts at $26,130 with the destination fees included.
