The 2019 Ford Ranger is almost here! Ford has announced that production of the 2019 Ranger has started at its Michigan Assembly Plant.

2019 Ford Ranger Production

The 2019 Ford Ranger will officially arrive in showrooms by early next year. Ford has invested $850 million in its Michigan Assembly Plant, which will not only build the new Ranger, but also the new Ford Bronco, which is going to enter production in 2020.

The Michigan Assembly Plant has a long history, since it first opened in 1957 to build station wagons and then in 1966 it was in charge of building the Ford Bronco for 30 years. Most recently the plant produced the Ford Focus, but now that Ford has killed off most of its car lineup, the plant has been retooled to produce the Ranger and Bronco.

The 2019 Ford Ranger starts at $24,300. While we’re excited that the Ranger is returning after eight years, Ford also dropped a bit of bad news last week, since it confirmed that the Ranger Raptor won’t be offered in the US.
