In addition to digging up some news about the 2019 Cadillac ATS, The Truth About Cars may have also discovered that the 2019 Chevy Cruze will not be offered with a manual transmission.
While looking at General Motors VIN decoder, it was discovered that a manual transmission option is not listed for the 2019 Cruze. The decoder shows that the Cruze will instead be offered with a less fun new CVT transmission. A regular six-speed automatic transmission will continued to be offered, while the diesel gets a nine-speed.
The 2019 Cruze will continue to offer the 1.6L diesel and 1.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engines, in addition to the base 1.5L and a 1.4L that can run on natural gas.
