BMW has confirmed that it will reveal a new model next month at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. We’ve been speculating that the new production model will be the 2019 BMW Z4 and now BMW has provided more hints that it will be the Z4 with this teaser.
The single teaser photo shows part of the grille that just happens to look similar to the kidney grille design that we’ve seen on the 2019 BMW Z4 prototypes. If the 2019 Z4 does debut on August 23 at The Lodge at Pebble Beach, that means that it will be revealed ahead of its cousin, the new Toyota Supra.
While BMW has provided lots of early details about the new Z4, including the Z4 M40i model, BMW also recently hinted that a high performance Z4 M isn’t going to happen.
The 2019 Z4 won’t be the only model that BMW is showing off next month, since the 2019 BMW M850i and 8 Series Gran Coupe concept will also make an appearance.
“The BMW 8 Series will take over as the new flagship model of the BMW line-up and, as such, combines unsurpassed sportiness and elegance,” says Adrian van Hooydonk, Senior Vice President BMW Group Design. “The BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupe offers a look ahead to the most exotic and alluring variant of the new BMW 8 Series.”
