Volkswagen has announced the pricing for the 2018 VW Tiguan, which starts at $26,245 with the destination fees included. The all-new 2018 Tiguan is a 10.6 inches longer than the current version and will be offered in S, SE, SEL and SEL Premium trim levels.

The new Tiguan rides on Volkswagen’s MQB platform. At 185.1 inches long, it gains 10.6 inches in length over the existing model, and features up to 58 percent more cargo space. Third-row seating is standard on front-wheel drive models, and is optional on all-wheel models. Under the hood, the 2018 Tiguan is powered by a new 2.0L engine that generates 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft. of torque that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Tiguan S FWD starts at $26,245 with the $900 destination fee, while the all-wheel drive Tiguan TSI S 4Motion starts at $27,545. Standard exterior features include 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, LED taillights, rearview camera, heated side mirrors, black roof rails and trailer hitch preparation for hauling needs.
Inside there’s a standard 6.5-inch infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity and Volkswagen Car-Net App-Connect for compatible devices, enabling integration with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink.
The Tiguan SE starts at $29,980 and comes standard with an 8-inch infotainment system with SiriusXM Satellite Radio, VW Car-Net Security & Service, KESSY keyless access with push-button start, automatic dual-zone climate control, rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, leatherette seating surfaces, Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Monitoring and Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert. The Tiguan SE 4Motion model is available for $31,280.
Starting at $33,450, the Tiguan SEL adds 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, an 8-inch Discover Media infotainment system with navigation, power liftgate, remote start, silver roof rails, panoramic sunroof with ambient lighting and Adaptive Cruise Control. The Tiguan SEL 4Motion model is available for $34,750.
The Tiguan SEL Premium starts at $37,150. The SEL Premium adds 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, LED headlights with an Adaptive Front-lighting System, rain-sensing wipers, power-folding door mirrors with puddle lights, hands-free Easy Open and Easy Close power liftgate, heated steering wheel, leather seating surfaces and a cargo cover. Driver assistance features include Lane Departure Warning, automatic High Beam Control, front and rear Park Distance Control and Overhead View Camera. The interior also gets a Fender Premium Audio System and a 12.3-inch Volkswagen Digital Cockpit display The Tiguan SEL Premium 4Motion model is available for $38,450.
