Volkswagen has announced that the 2018 VW Atlas has received a top 5-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The 2018 Atlas joins the list of VW models that have 5-star NHTSA ratings, that includes the Golf, Jetta, Passat and Beetle Coupe.
NHTSA provides crash ratings for front, side, and rollover crash safety tests.
