GMC has announced the pricing for the all-new 2018 GMC Terrain, which starts at $25,970. The new Terrain is completely new on the inside and out, while it still shares most of its DNA with the equally new Chevy Equinox.
The 2018 GMC Terrain gets three new turbocharged engines: a 170-hp 1.5-liter four-cylinder, 252-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a 1.6-liter turbo-diesel. The 2.0L will be the first engine available when the 2018 Terrain arrives in showrooms this summer.
The standard Terrain will be powered by the a 1.5L turbo engine paired with a new nine-speed automatic transmission. It will come standard with a driver-controllable Traction Select system, LED daytime running lights and taillights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, flat-folding front passenger seat and keyless open and start.
The Terrain Denali starts at $38,495 and will be powered by the 252-hp, 2.0L turbo engine. It comes standard with 19-inch machined aluminum wheels, LED headlights, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, hands-free power programmable liftgate, an 8-inch infotainment system with navigation and a Bose premium seven-speaker audio system. The Denali trim also comes standard with safety technology, like Side Blind Zone Alert with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Park Assist and the Safety Alert Seat.
