If you’re a Mustang fan you probably already know that April 17 is National Mustang Day, but to celebrate it, Ford has announced that the Shelby GT350 and GT350R Mustang will be offered for the 2018 model year.
The 2018 Mustang got a long list of upgrades, but the 2018 Shelby GT350 and GT350R Mustang will be unchanged from the 2017 versions, with the exception of three new exterior color options: Orange Fury, Kona Blue and Lead Foot Gray.
Under the hood everything stays the same, which means that the 2018 Shelby GT350 and GT350R Mustang are powered by a 5.2-liter V8 engine with 526 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque. Both models also feature an upgraded braking system with vented 15.5-inch two-piece front rotors and six-piston Brembo calipers along with the MagneRide damping.
