The 2018 BMW M5 will be powered by a turbocharged 4.4L V8 and according to the latest reports, it will generate around 600 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque. The M5 will feature BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system, but it will have a feature to send all the power to only the rear wheels. Expect a 0-62 mph time around 3.5 seconds.

Although the new M5 is expected to debut next month, there’s a report that the first deliveries may not happen until next spring, since a user on the Bimmer Post forum recently received an April 2018 delivery date for their reservation.
