The S65 Cabriolet gets its motivation from a 6.0L V-12 that generates a nice 621 horsepower and 738 lb-ft. of torque. All that power is sent only to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission. The standard version has a limited top speed of 155 mph, but the available Driver’s Package lifts the top speed to 186 mph.

The S65 Cabriolet rides on a standard air suspension, although it has been retuned a bit. The electric power steering system has also received a few tweaks to optimize the convertible’s handling and agility.
It hasn’t been announced when the Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet will be available in the United States, but it is expected to arrive by next fall.
