Mercedes-AMG has released a few teasers of an upcoming model, that it simply describes as “something fast.” Although Mercedes-Benz’s sub-brand isn’t telling us exactly which model is pictured here, it is believed that this is a preview of the upcoming C63 AMG Coupe.
Mercedes-AMG has released a few teasers of an upcoming model, that it simply describes as “something fast.” Although Mercedes-Benz’s sub-brand isn’t telling us exactly which model is pictured here, it is believed that this is a preview of the upcoming C63 AMG Coupe.

The C63 Coupe is expected to debut in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, where it will debut as a direct rival to the BMW M4. It will reportedly be powered by the same twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 as the GT Coupe. The standard spec version will generate 469 horsepower and 479 lb-ft. of torque, while the C63 S version will pack 503 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque. A seven-speed automatic transmission will be standard and it’s estimated that the C 63 Coupe will be able to reach 60 mph in around 3.9 seconds.
We’ll also see the non-AMG versions of the C-Class Coupe debut in Frankfurt as well.
