Cadillac has confirmed plans to the replacement for the SRX crossover – the 2017 XT5, at the Dubai Motor Show in November. The SRX is the best-selling vehicle in Cadillac’s lineup, so there’s a lot riding on the introduction of the XT5, this fall.

Even though Cadillac hasn’t officially revealed the XT5, it was caught sitting undisguised a few months ago in NYC. A pre-production version of the XT5 was caught during a photo shoot. Based on the photos, it’s easy to see that the XT5 will borrow styling cues from the new CT6.

We’ll have to wait until November to get all the details, but it’s expected that the XT5 will be offered with a turbocharged four-cylinder, in addition to some V6 options. The 2017 XT5 will have its U.S. debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
