Nissan has revealed the updated 2016 Nissan Sentra, which is getting a new face that brings it in line with Nissan’s new design language. The redesigned face is very similar to the redesigned 2016 Altima with its V-shaped grille.

The updates to the 2016 Sentra include new front and rear fascias, grille, fenders, hood, signature boomerang-shaped headlights and taillights and a new 17-inch wheels. Inside, the revised Sentra interior features a new steering wheel, an power driver’s seat with power lumbar, new center cluster and audio display design, new console and shifter knob, and refined seat fabrics.
The 2016 Sentra also gets Nissan’s advanced Safety Shield Technologies – Forward Emergency Braking, Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Other technologies include NissanConnect Services.
All 2016 Sentra models are powered by a 130-hp 1.8L 4-cylinder that can be mated to a six-speed manual or CVT transmission. According to Nissan the drivability of the CVT has been improved with the next generation D-Step Logic Control. Lastly the 2016 Sentra’s suspension has been retuned suspension design featuring a 10 percent increase in spring and damper rates, as well as enhanced body stiffness for improved roll and body control. Pricing starts at $17,605.
