Lotus has announced the pricing for the 2016 Lotus Evora 400, which will start at $89,900 when it goes on sale at the end of the year. What does that price get you? Well the new Evora 400 costs a bit more than the outgoing Evora and Evora S models, but at least now it holds the title as the fastest road car that Lotus has ever produced.
The Evora 400 is powered by a Toyota-sourced mid-mounted supercharged 3.5L V6 that generates 400 horsepower and 302 lb-ft. of torque. A six-speed manual is standard, but a six-speed automatic gearbox is optional. The Evora 400 can reach 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 186 mph.
It comes standard with 370 mm composite two piece brake discs from AP Racing, a Limited Slip Differential, automatic air-conditioning and infotainment system including satellite navigation.
