Kia has revealed the updates to the 2016 Soul EV, with the biggest update being a new entry-level Soul EV-e trim level. Kia hasn’t revealed the pricing, but the new trim level should drop the entry price of the Soul EV a bit.
The Soul EV-e trim level comes standard with DC fast charge port, 6.6-kilowatt onboard charger, 3.5-inch OLED Supervision cluster, smart key with push button start, heated front seats, heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and FlexSteer. The next step up is the Soul EV trim, which carries over from last year and comes standard with an 8-inch navigation system with a rear camera and UVO EV Services.
The Soul EV+ trim level is now available with a new Sun & Fun package that adds a panoramic sunroof, LED interior lighting, ventilated front passenger seats, heated rear outboard seats, leather trimmed seats, front and rear Park Assist, and power folding mirrors.
Lastly there are two new exterior colors: Shadow Black and Bright Silver.
