Kia has released more details about the all-new 2016 Kia Sorento ahead of its world debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show in October.
The third-generation Kia Sorento SUV gets Kia’s latest design language with the signature tiger-nose grille. The 2016 Sorento is now longer, lower and wider than the outgoing model. It’s exterior is .59-inches lower, but Kia says that repositioned seat cushions ensure increased headroom for occupants in all three rows. A 3-inch longer wheelbase will also provide more legroom for all three rows.

The 2016 Sorento will also offer a bunch of new tech features like an an Around-View Monitor with four cameras helping the driver to maneuver when parking and a Smart Power Tailgate that opens the tailgate automatically when the key is close to the trunk.
Under the hood we can expect the 2016 Sorento to be powered by a 2.4L four-cylinder or a 3.3L V6. Buyers outside the U.S. will also be able to choose between 2.0L and 2.2L diesel engines as well.
The U.S.-spec 2016 Sorento will debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November.
