As predicted, Jaguar has unveiled a new all-wheel-drive version of the 2016 F-Type R Coupe, which is going to debut this month at the 2014 LA Auto Show. This is the first time that all-wheel-drive will be available in the F-Type lineup and thanks to the extra traction, the F-Type R Coupe AWD model reaches 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than the RWD version.

The addition of all-wheel-drive is one of a number of performance enhancements to the Jaguar F-TYPE model range which will grow from six to 12 derivatives in the 2016 model year, with the full model range debuting on November 19. We can most likely also expect to see a manual version introduced as well as a version with the four-cylinder Ingenium engine.
