2016 Chevy Colorado Midnight Edition and Z71 Trail Boss models unveiled

Chevy has revealed two new special versions of the 2016 Colorado pickup – the Colorado Midnight Edition and Z71 Trail Boss.

Chevy has revealed two new special versions of the 2016 Colorado pickup – the Colorado Midnight Edition and Z71 Trail Boss. Both models are meant to add some new bolder options to the Colorado lineup. According to Chevy, the Midnight Edition is design for the city, while the Z71 Trail Boss lives up to its name by being designed for a less civilized environment.
The Colorado Midnight Edition comes exclusively in black, while its grille, bowtie emblem and 18-inch wheels are also blacked out. It also gets a spray-on bedliner and folding tonneau cover. The Colorado Midnight Edition is available on LT models with the extended and crew cab bodies.

The 2016 Colorado Z71 Trail Boss builds on the capability of Chevrolet’s Z71 off-road truck suspension package with more aggressive tires and off-road-inspired appearance enhancements, like a sport bar with LED trail lighting. It also gets 17-inch wheels, fender flares and tubular assist steps. Lastly it also gets a black bowtie grille emblem and a spray-on bedliner, and a set of all-weather floor mats inside the truck. The Colorado Z71 Trail Boss is available on Z71 models with the extended and crew cab bodies, and in 2WD or 4WD.

Chevy hasn’t announced the pricing for either model.
