BMW has unveiled the 2016 X4 M40i, which will now be the top dog in the X4 lineup. Powered by a new turbocharged inline 6-cylinder, the X4 M40i packs 355 horsepower and can reach 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph.

The changes to the exterior are minimal with the updates being restricted to Ferric Gray metallic accents on the front of the vehicle and side mirrors, in addition to unique 20-inch M wheels. The rear gets a sport exhaust system with Black Chrome tailpipes on both sides. Inside it gets an M leather wrapped steering wheel, M gear shift lever, sport seats, model-specific door sills and “X4 M40i” digital lettering on the instrument cluster.
BMW hasn’t announced the pricing for the 2016 X4 M40i, but it is going to arrive at dealers in February 2016.
