Porsche has taken the wraps off the two most powerful versions of the Boxster and Cayman, the 2015 Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS.
Porsche has taken the wraps off the two most powerful versions of the Boxster and Cayman, the 2015 Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS. The new GTS versions of the Boxster and Cayman are the most powerful and fastest versions available.
The Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS are powered by the same 3.4L six-cylinder engine from the Boxster S and Cayman S, but thanks to some tweaks the engine generates an extra 15 horsepower in the GTS versions. The Boxster GTS now has 330 horsepower, while the Cayman GTS delivers 340 horsepower. Torque has also increased by 7 lb-ft. over the S models and the Sport Chrono package is now standard. With the optional PDK transmission, the Boxster GTS can reach 0-62 mph in 4.7 seconds, while the Cayman GTS can do it in 4.6 seconds. The Boxster GTS has a top speed of 175 mph, while the Cayman GTS has a top speed of 177 mph.

Other additions to the GTS versions, includes a lowered ride height, blackened bi-xenon headlights and black exterior lettering.
Porsche hasn’t announced how much the 2015 Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS will cost in the U.S., but in Germany the Boxster GTS costs €69,949 and the Cayman GTS costs €73,757.
