The C63 AMG is aimed squarely at the BMW M3 and to take on the M3, the C63 AMG borrows its V8 from the equally new AMG-GT coupe. In the top spec C63 AMG S it will generate 503 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque, which is more powerful than the old 6.2L V8 in the previous C63 AMG. The standard C63 AMG will have slightly less power at 469 horsepower and 479 lb-ft. of torque, but will still reach 0-62mph in 4.2sec with a limited top speed of 155mph.

Both versions will come standard with a seven-speed AMG Speedshift transmission that will send all that power to the rear wheels.

On the outside the C63 AMG sports a more aggressive body kit that adds sportier bumpers, side skirts and a rear diffuser. Four tailpipes will let everyone know that this isn’t a standard C-Class. The C63 AMG S adds high gloss black accents, composite brakes, dynamic engine mounts and 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels.
