Lincoln is set to debut a new 2015 Navigator tomorrow, but a few photos of it have already leaked on Twitter.
With an all-new 2015 Cadillac Escalade right around the corner, Lincoln needs to update the Navigator if it wants to be able to compete. Lincoln is set to debut a new 2015 Navigator tomorrow, but a few photos of it have already leaked on Twitter.
From these photos we can see a very dramatic new face has been bolted onto the current generation Navigator, meaning that the 2015 Navigator will not be all-new like the Escalade. The move is likely just an update to keep the Navigator somewhat relevant while Lincoln works on an all-new Navigator, which will hopefully arrive soon. Navigator sales significantly trail the Escalade and since the 2015 Escalade is all-new, the sales gap is expected to widen. Lincoln only sold just over 8,600 Navigators in 2013, compared to the over 22k Escalades that Cadillac managed to move.
In addition to the extreme new face, the 2015 Navigator is rumored to get a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 in place of the current 5.4L V8. Lincoln probably added some updates to the interior and trim levels.
