The 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is returning for the new model year and the good news is that it now packs a bit more power. The 2015 Grand Cherokee SRT’s 6.4L HEMI V8 now has 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. of torque, which is up from 470-hp and 465 lb-ft. in the 2014 model year.
When the SRT brand was officially swallowed by the Dodge brand earlier this year it raised a lot of questions about the fate of the high-performance Grand Cherokee SRT, but by the looks of it, it isn’t about to disappear. The V8 is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and packs enough power to accelerate the Grand Cherokee SRT to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 160 mph.

The 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT also gets an Active Noise Canceling system. A new Red Vapor model adds 20-inch alloy wheels, gloss black details, backlit SRT badges and red accents in the interior. It’s available in three colors: Red Pearl Clear Coat, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat and Bright White Clear Coat.
