2015 Ford Mustang Named Official Car of 2014 CES

Ford has just announced that the 2015 Mustang has been named as the “Official Car” of the 2014 International CES show that takes place in Las Vegas next month.

It’s only been two weeks since the covers were taken off the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang and the buzz around the all-new pony car hasn’t stopped. Ford has just announced that the 2015 Mustang has been named as the “Official Car” of the 2014 International CES show that takes place in Las Vegas next month.
“Mustang has always been more than just a car, as it reminds us of the freedom and joy that comes from traveling the open road,” said Jim Farley, executive vice president, Ford global marketing, sales and service and Lincoln. “With world-class performance and innovative technologies wrapped in a sleek design, the all-new Ford Mustang puts you in control of the driving experience that suits you best.”

Ford will display the new 2015 Mustang fastback and convertible at the show, in addition to announcing some new technology features at the opening of the show on January 7.

“It is very exciting to see an iconic American car like Mustang equipped with state-of-the-art technology,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA. “Automobiles are rapidly becoming mobile technology platforms as consumers demand connectivity along with efficiency and performance in their vehicles.

Some of the tech features available on the 2015 Mustang include: Ford SYNC; MyFord Touch; AppLink, which gives drivers the ability to control more than 60 smartphone apps; Launch Control; Adaptive Cruise Control and collision warning; Track apps, which gives drivers can get instant access to acceleration, braking and handling performance data through the instrument cluster screen.
