Dodge CEO Timothy Kuniskis has revealed on Detroit radio station 101 WRIF that Dodge has plans to until a new performance vehicle at the upcoming Woodward Dream Cruise. It’s expected that the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat will debut.
It’s been widely reported that the 2015 Dodge Charger is the next Chrysler vehicle to get the same 707-hp Hellcat engine as the Challenger SRT Hellcat, but until today we haven’t known when it would debut. Dodge CEO Timothy Kuniskis has revealed on Detroit radio station 101 WRIF that Dodge has plans to until a new performance vehicle at the upcoming Woodward Dream Cruise, but he stopped short of stating if it will indeed be the Charger SRT Hellcat.
Kuniskis stated to the radio audience:
“I’m going to break something here that we haven’t told anybody yet … We have a very significant performance announcement coming on Tuesday of Dream Cruise … And then the car that that performance is associated with will also be on site Saturday, so the first time anyone gets to see it will be here in Detroit at Dream Cruise. We’ll announce it Tuesday, then come down Saturday and you can see the car.”
It’s expected that the Charger SRT Hellcat will debut on Tuesday, August 12 and then the car will be shown for the first time on Saturday, August 16 at the Woodward Dream Cruise.
