BMW has announced that the M235i Coupe is going to be available with xDrive all-wheel-drive starting this summer in Europe, but the U.S. will reportedly have to wait until sometime next year to get it.
The M235i xDrive reaches 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the rear-wheel-drive model, thanks to the added traction. The M235i xDrive is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six cylinder engine with 320 horsepower. The M235i xDrive is only available with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The all-wheel-drive system will also be offered in the upcoming 2-Series Convertible, but BMW has not revealed a release date.
