Acura has announced the changes to the 2015 Acura ILX, with the biggest change being the deletion of the ILX Hybrid.
Acura has announced the changes to the 2015 Acura ILX, with the biggest change being the deletion of the ILX Hybrid. The ILX Hybrid was a slow seller with only 63 units sold in May of this year, which was off by 68 percent compared to May 2013.
The 2015 Acura ILX will now only be offered with two powertrains, a 150-hp 2.0L or 201-hp 2.4L four-cylinder. Unfortunately the 2.0L is only available with a five-speed automatic, while the more powerful 2.4L only gets a six-speed manual transmission. There have been reports about an automatic for the 2.4L engine, but nothing has been confirmed.

The 2015 ILX starts at $27,050, while the 2.4L starts at $29,350. The only other big change is Modern Steel Metallic replaces the Polished Metal Metallic exterior color.
