Mazda has unveiled the refreshed 2013 CX-9 crossover, which will be officially unveiled at the 2012 Australian Motor Show, next month. The new CX-9 gets a new face that incorporates elements from Mazda’s new Kodo design language.
The 2013 Mazda CX-9 adopts Mazda’s Kodo “Soul of Motion” design theme at the front and rear, which gives it a sportier exterior. Mazda has also updated the interior with higher quality materials and a new infotainment system, although Mazda hasn’t released any photos of it yet.
The 2013 CX-9 also gets advanced active-safety features, such as Forward Obstruction Warning System, Lane Departure Warning System, and High Beam Control System.
The Mazda CX-9 will continue to be powered by the current 3.7L V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
