The Elantra Coupe is powered by a 1.8L four-cylinder engine with 148 horsepower that can be mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The manual transmission equipped Elantra Coupe gets an estimated 40 mpg on the highway. The Elantra GS Coupe comes standard with heated front seats, AM/FM/SiriusXM Satellite Radio/CD/MP3 audio system, Bluetooth, power everything, fog lights and 16-inch alloy wheels. The SE model adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, leather seats, sunroof, a unique grille and a rear spoiler. The SE Technology Package ($2,350) that is available on automatic equipped SE models adds a navigation system, rear camera, a 360-watt audio system and push button start.
The 2013 Elantra Coupe will begin arriving in Hyundai dealerships later this month.
