With 395 horsepower on tap from its EA888 four-cylinder engine, the Golf R 400 concept can reach 62 mph in 3.9 seconds, a second faster than the Golf R, with a top speed of 174 mph. Every Golf fan can now only hope that VW decides to sell it in a showroom near them, since VW research and development chief Heinz-Jakob Neusser recently confirmed that it will be built, but didn’t reveal what countries will get it.
