We’re only four days away from the debut of the new Volvo S60, which is going to debut on June 20. To get us ready, Volvo has released a new teaser of the 2019 Volvo S60, which it calls “Refined and beautifully balanced.”

The 2019 Volvo S60 will look pretty close to the 2019 V60 wagon from the A pillar forward and thanks to a leaked photo we know that the rear of the new S60 will take cues from the larger S90 sedan.

Volvo has also announced that the 2019 S60 will not be offered with a diesel engine. Volvo is pushing forward with its plans to offer a fully electrified engine lineup in its models, so expect the S60 to offer at least one plug-in hybrid option. The range topping version will be the new S60 T8 Polestar Engineered with its 415 horsepower plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Volvo hasn’t revealed too much else about the new S60, but the EPA already posted the mpg specs for the 2019 S60, which is rated at 24/36 mpg for the base T5 version, while the T6 all-wheel drive version is rated at 21/32 mpg. What’s interesting is that both versions are slightly less fuel efficient than the 2018 S60. The EPA also revealed that the 2019 S60 will have a slightly bigger interior at 96 cubic feet vs 93 cubic feet in the current S60.

Stay tuned.
