Volkswagen’s Canadian website has released a teaser of the 2019 VW Jetta, which is going to debut in January at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show. VW’s teaser provides a few clues about the exterior styling of the new Jetta, but also confirms that the leaked photos we saw a few months ago are accurate.
The 2019 VW Jetta will feature an evolutionary redesign with a bigger grille. Volkswagen North America CEO Hinrich Woebcken recently described the 2019 Jetta’s exterior as being “super modern” and with an “emotional” design.
The 2019 Jetta will be based on VW’s MQB platform. The base engine is expected to be a turbocharged 1.4L four-cylinder.
