Volkswagen is expected to debut the new Jetta later this year, but three images of the new sedan have leaked online. The pictures come from Autologia and reveal a more stylish Jetta that also looks a bit larger.

New Volkswagen Jetta

The new Jetta features many of the same styling cues that we’ve seen on the new Arteon and the upcoming T-Roc crossover. From the front there are new headlights with a large black grille, plus creases in the hood to amp up the style quotient. From the side, the Jetta’s profile is sleeker with a sharp line running from the front fender all the way to the taillights.

The new Jetta will be based on VW’s new MQB platform. Under the hood we can expect a range of different engines, like a 1.6L four-cylinder, plus 1.2- and 1.4-liter engines, depending on which market you are in.

We’ll likely get all the details in a few months, since the new Jetta is expected to debut by the end of the year, before it goes on sale next year.
