Last year Toyota introduced the Tacoma Trail Edition, which featured lockable bed storage and a few other exterior upgrades. Now Toyota has unveiled the 2022 Tacoma Trail Edition, which is now even more ready for an off-roading adventure.
For starters, it now has a 1.1-inch front suspension lift and a 0.5-inch rear suspension lift thanks to new coil springs and a spacer between the rear axle housing and leaf springs. The front air dam has also been deleted to improve ground clearance. With the air dam removal and the front suspension lift the approach angle of the truck improves to 34 degrees. The rear departure angle has also been improved to 23.6 degrees and the breakover angle is now 26.4 degrees.
The Tacoma Trail Edition rides on bronze wheels, which are tied to the bronze accents on the grille. Buyers can choose Lunar Rock, Army Green, Midnight Black and Super White exterior colors.
