From 2005-2013 Toyota sold a lowered version of the Tacoma, called the Tacoma X-Runner. It’s been over 10 years now, since the sportier Tacoma was offered, but is Toyota bringing it back with the new Tacoma?

Toyota has announced its lineup of concepts that it is bringing to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas later this month and one of them is called the Tacoma X-Runner concept, which you see here. Toyota hasn’t made any announcements about the Tacoma X-Runner’s possible return, but it says that will use the show to highlight the “all-new 2024 Tacoma; the return of Land Cruiser; GR Sportscar Performance and Toyota’s expanding Associated Accessory Products (AAP) Program.”

The other concepts at the show will be the FJ Bruiser, Retro Cruiser and Blue Beetle Tacoma. Stay tuned. If you’re excited for the arrival of the 2024 Tacoma, Toyota says that it will arrive at dealers in December.
