Toyota is going to release an all-new 2012 Camry and Camry Hybrid this fall. At the company’s annual dealer meeting, which recently took place in Las Vegas, Toyota released some of the details it has for the new Camry.
Toyota is planning a major media blitz for the all-new Camry, which has been the best-selling car for years in the US. According to The Wall Street Journal part of the new media blitz will be 40 new commercials that will claim that the 2012 Camry is “smart, safe and worry-free.” Toyota hasn’t released anything about the design of the next Camry, other than the claim that it will be less conservative.
Toyotareleased this statement about the new Camry, “Designed to meet the changing needs of the 21st Century driver, the new Camry will provide technologically advanced features, a contemporary design inside and out, improved performance and refined ride and handling.”
In addition to the new Camry, Toyota also told dealers that its planning 20 new or redesigned models by 2013 including the production version of the Prius C concept, a new Avalon and the upcoming Scion FR-S rear-wheel-drive coupe.
