Audi has announced that it will start taking reservations for the e-tron electric SUV in the US starting on September 17, 2018. Audi hasn’t revealed the pricing for the 2019 e-tron, but you can reserve one for $1,000.
September 17 will also be the day that we get to see and hear everything about the Audi e-tron when it has its world debut in San Francisco. The e-tron will officially arrive in the US starting in the first half of 2019, but Audi hasn’t announced production quantities. After customers place a reservation, they will be able to track it online and with their local dealer.
The 2019 e-tron will be the first of three fully electric vehicles that Audi plans to debut by 2020. Audi expects that nearly 30 percent of its customers in the U.S. will go electric by 2025.
