Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk has revealed plans for a big announcement from the automaker this week. Musk went to Twitter to announce that during a press conference on Thursday at 9 am, the electric automaker plans to “end range anxiety.”

Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk has revealed plans for a big announcement from the automaker this week. Musk went to Twitter to announce that during a press conference on Thursday at 9 am, the electric automaker plans to “end range anxiety.”
An over-the-air software update to the entire Model S range will end the range anxiety that current plagues most electric cars, but the official details of the update haven’t been announced. Earlier this year, Elon Musk did reveal that the Model S P85D would get a software update, but this update sounds much larger.
