Tesla is now reportedly producing more than 400 Model S sedans a week, which is more than the automaker’s initial goal according to CEO Elon Musk. “We’re above 400 a week at the current manpower, and not trivially above it,” Musk said.
As demand and Tesla’s production skills increase, production of the Model S will continue to rise. Musk also stated that by the end of 2014, Tesla hopes to be producing around 800 Model S sedans a week. This year Tesla expects to sell 21,000 Model S sedans.

Late next year Tesla will introduce the Model X SUV, which will be followed by a new cheaper sedan and a compact SUV.
