Toyota and Subaru have already announced that the two automakers are collaborating on a new rear-wheel-drive coupe that will be sold under both brand names. Now it looks like the two are also working on a new Impreza Coupe that will be released for 2010.
According to Auto Express the two automakers are working on an Impreza Coupe that will also spawn the successor to the Toyota Celica. The Impreza Coupe will take many styling cues from the current Impreza but with a more aggressive rear end. The entry level model will have RWD instead of the current AWD system. Two engines will be offered, a 180 horsepower 2.0L boxer engine and a 2.5L turbo with close to 300 horsepower.
