Subaru has released teaser photos of the high-performance version of the BRZ, the BRZ STI.
Subaru has released teaser photos of the high-performance version of the BRZ, the BRZ STI. The details are scarce, but it is expected that the BRZ STI will debut sometime later this year, most likely at the LA Auto Show.
The two teaser photos here show off the STI badge on the fender and the second gives us a glimpse at the modified front end. It’s not known what modifications lie under the hood, although it has been reported that the BRZ STI will not get a turbocharged engine, due to room restrictions. Instead the 2.0L boxer engine will get a higher redline with final output landing somewhere around 232 horsepower.
